Artist Statement:

"Set against a warm purple backdrop, an oversized golden sunflower rises. She is radiant, grounded and fully alive. This piece reflects the quiet, powerful transformation that can follow hardship. Trauma reshapes us, but it also creates space to rebuild with intention, depth, and strength we may not have otherwise discovered. The sunflower, bold and reaching, becomes a symbol of what is possible: not a return to who we were, but an emergence into something fuller, richer, and more resilient. I am becoming is both a statement and a promise—that even in the aftermath, there is growth, there is beauty, and there is light."

Proceeds from this purchase help fund the costs associated with sending a Card of Hope to a mother of traumatic birth who has requested one.
