"Held By Hope is a meditation on quiet hope. Warm tones of gold and yellow fill the canvas, evoking light, warmth, and a sense of steady presence. In the foreground, a field of wildflowers in reds and oranges creates movement and visual noise, reflecting the busyness and unpredictability of lived experience. Amid this layered landscape, a single budding flower emerges, rendered in metallic gold symbolizing hope as something both constant and alive. Not loud or overpowering, but persistent. Present. Unyielding. The typewritten words, “held by hope,” ground the piece in language that feels both intimate and declarative."
