"Charlston” is a soft yet bold original painting from my Hope Series, created with layered paint washes and gentle spring tones that evoke the feeling of a garden in bloom. Hydrangeas fade into the background in soft greens, blues, and airy light, while a dominant purple butterfly becomes the focal point of the piece. The butterfly symbolizes transformation, resilience, and hope — a reminder that seasons of great change, though often difficult, can lead to unexpected beauty. The layered nature of the painting reflects the emotional complexity of growth itself, where fragility and strength exist together. Through movement, color, and softness, “Charlston” invites the viewer to pause and remember that healing and renewal are often born through transition."
