"Harvesting Hope" - January's Card of Hope

"Harvesting Hope" - January's Card of Hope

For Cards of Hope this year, I am creating twelve images that are all symbols of hope. I have three finished so far and am pretty excited to see what the rest of the year creates. Plus they may make a beautiful calendar for 2025, but I am gettin ahead of myself. Here is my newest painting that served as January's Card of Hope:

This passion project has meant so much to me and what keeps me going are the messages from other mothers who have signed up. Here is a response from one of the 2023 recipients,

"I just came across your TikTok for the first time, and after seeing what you do to spread love directly to all birth trauma mamas, I wanted to reach out to you to say THANK YOU. I’m a first time mom to a beautiful 32 weeker baby boy who is now 1.5 years old. He spent 20 days in the NICU, and that journey has forever changed the woman that I am. He’s my miracle baby, and though there are many joys of motherhood, my birth trauma remains with me. Thank you for validating my experience and sharing hope with us all."

I intend on continuing Cards of Hope through 2024 and purchases on this website afford me the ability to do so. My newest piece, "Harvesting Hope" is available as greeting cards, fine art prints and the original is available too. Browse Now

Artist Statement, "in the vibrant canvas of life, I created this pieces to capture the essence of hope and resilience that can ascend. Each bloom symbolizes the strength to endure and flourish in adversity. The lone bee embodies diligence and interconnectedness, emphasizing that even a single small effort can be critical to something much bigger. Together, they create a visual narrative of perseverance, reminding us that in the face of challenges, the power of hope and resilience blossoms, but not with out each other."

This painting served as the image on January 2024 Cards of Hope. Proceeds from all purchases help fund the costs associated with sending a Card of Hope to a mother of traumatic birth who has requested one.
