Matboard: If ordered, matboard comes in Smooth White B222 (standard core) mat with standard backing board. Outer dimension of matboard measures 14x11".

Artist Statement:

"My piece, Coco, centers on a radiant hummingbird suspended in a field of golden yellow—an atmosphere alive with warmth, light, and possibility. Hummingbirds, though small and often overlooked, embody extraordinary resilience, endurance, and vitality. They move with intention, adapt with grace, and persist against odds that far outweigh their size. This work is deeply connected to my broader mission: to create visual language for hope, particularly for those navigating trauma, motherhood, and the long, unseen paths of healing. Like the hummingbird, many of the women I serve through my art—especially mothers shaped by medical journeys—carry immense strength in small, often invisible ways."

Proceeds from this purchase help fund the costs associated with sending a Card of Hope to a mother of traumatic birth who has requested one.
